We started off the good vibes that Friday afternoon with some Mojitos followed by Margaritas!

“You are the mint to my mojito” – choice of Bacardi made with crushed mint leaves, corona lime, and natural cane sugar. Havana Bar & Grill also have some amazing specialty fruity mojitos. Refreshing breath. It goes down so easily. It’s a very very good drink.
Margaritas are what you pour for life’s happiest moments. We let out a good Wow! when we tasted it.

Topnotch staff interaction and support when things are going well, as well as handling difficult situations. We commend the team’s attentiveness and camaraderie towards the dining customers. While the team prepared our dinner, they have brought out the famous Bloodys – Aye! Hail, Bloody Marys! “Been there, drank that, spilt it on the t-shirt…” We have supped and relished a hearty unique house spice mix also known as the classic “hair of the dog” hangover cure, for brunch and beyond. This tangy, spicy Russian standard Vodka and tomato juice-based cocktail’s a classic. It’s not lying – it was spicy and sexy; it delivers a juicy refreshing blow! It is one of those perfect blank canvas cocktails that lets bartenders and home mixologist alike get creative – both in terms of flavour and spirits, not to mention the Instagram-worthy garnishes you can pile on top.

As we move along the dining experience, we have been looking forward to their newly updated & developed menu offering more healthier options. Havana Bar & Grill is happy to announce that they’ve expanded the selection of mains to better accommodate other special dietary requirements, and to include more fresh fish & fresh vegetables. They’ve now incorporated new vegan and gluten free dishes.
The newest Roast Pumpkin Salad was served as an appetizer. This is a bright and fresh antidote to bland and boring salads. A cheeky fresh salad, bursting with flavours. A combo of Granola & fresh Pomegranate.

A good burger is a thing of beauty, a satisfying, messy manifestation of all things umami (“a pleasant savoury taste”). This Havana Burger is a house classic. Their homemade patty, bun and house relish all come together with caramelized onion, crisp lettuce, tomato, and pickles. The perfect finale to a night on the lash!

Potatoes, fish, and lemon have always made a good match, this flavourful and texture perfect Sea Bass fillet recipe in bed with mashed potato is simply wonderful. Combining a fish on a layer of mashed potatoes is a reliable way of ensuring they stay juicy. The juices are soaked up, making sure that not a drop of flavour is wasted. Right off the bat, this dish is phenomenal.

We can’t miss to try the goujons. Can you really evade a dish with the word ‘legendary’ in there? The Havana Bar & Grill’s Chunky Fish Goujons are a must try as what can be finer than these crispy little fellas? The light batter makes them easy to swallow especially with the hand chopped tartar sauce and pea with mint puree.

Feast your eyes on the superb 4 seasons pizza topped with (Spring) Baby Spinach, (Summer) Black Olive, (Fall) Button Mushrooms, and (Winter) shredded Beef Bacon representing a particular season of the year! It’s straightforward, and all at once crispy and chewy, stretchy and firm, & full of flavour. This unique topping of choice is an instant winner!

Havana Bar & Grill offers such extensive mix of cuisine, history, culture, nature, and music. The ambiance of the place is, to say the least, cheering and splendid. A pleasant combo of antique art and modern designs give the restaurant a distinctive and eloquence to charm appearance.

We cap the night off to our Latin American adventure as we gobbled down 4 special desserts & Espressotini + Romeo y Julieta cigars: Homemade sticky Toffee Pudding, Caramelized Apple Tart, Chocolate & Cappuccino Mousse, and Lemon Tart. We only live life once, so we must have fun.

The best way to do is to get a group of friends or well-wishers together and smoke those Cuban cigars (Havana Bar & Grills’ humidor is home to a full range of premium hand rolled cigars from famed Cuban houses including Cohiba, Montecristo, Hoyo de Monterray, and Romeo y Juileta.) — Good drinks, good food and good Cuban cigars all around.

Espressotini – This is a much needed after food serving of the night! Espresso Martini is here to jolt you awake with its boozy magical powers. The cold coffee-flavoured cocktail mixes vodka with espresso coffee, coffee liquor (usually Kahlua) and simple syrup. Garnish with a few coffee beans, and it’s picture perfect.

The place is brimming with music, history, and culture. We love the entire experience, and we left half of our hearts in “Havana, oh na na…” 😊 We adore Havana Bar & Grill. This review experience was absolutely one for the books! We came hungry, left healthy and happy!
