7TNine Kitchen & Bar is situated just on the outskirts of KL, very nearby Bukit Nanas. 7TNine offers a sophisticated dining experience offering deliciously authentic North Indian cuisine as well as a selection of Western dishes for those of you who might not be in the mood for some Indian spice!
The Establishment itself has a very cosy and warm feel with a large open air terrace with plenty of seating, complete with a number of TVs, pool table, dartboard, bar and dining area, as you can see from our video below of the open air terrace and surrounding area.
Surrounding Area, Open Air terrace & Bar Area
Excellent for those who wish to dine in the open air with plenty of fans around to keep you cool or if you prefer, just to have a few drinks, enjoy the music and atmosphere, day or night! However, if you are someone that prefers to dine or just have a drink in an air conditioned environment, then just step inside to their adjoining buffet and dining area.
Ground Floor Buffet & Dining Area
You may have noticed from our video that there is not much parking very nearby so unless you don’t mind a short walk you might want to consider a Grab since 7TNine Kitchen & Bar is only a short distance from KL, probably for the best if you just want come and enjoy a drink and the night scene! However if you really must drive, 7TNine Kitchen & Bar do have a valet service.
7TNine Kitchen & Bar would also make an excellent venue for business meetings, events, celebrations and private parties. On the first floor it has a large private event hall, with its own private bar which adjoins onto a spacious outdoor terrace.
Great for socialising and networking, staying inside if you want to keep cool for a while, or venturing outside onto the connecting terrace if you prefer. There was no private function being held on the night we came.

Our Dining Experience
We arrived around 7pm and decided to eat on the ground floor terrace and bar area. We love Indian food and have tried quite a few places in Malaysia so far, so we thought we would put this place to the test, and we were not disappointed! The staff were very friendly, we ordered a lot of drinks that were brought to us very quickly, every time!
There was a little wait for the food which we didn’t mind since the food comes freshly prepared by the chefs, directly from the kitchen! Of course, we started with Poppadoms!
You can check out the 7TNine Menu here, which is on their website. We ordered quite a number of Indian dishes and the Chicken Aglio Olio Briyani Pasta for my son who is not really a fan of spicy food. This was prepared with Linguini pasta, chicken chunks, chopped garlic, chilli flakes and Biryani sauce.
First out was my starter of Chicken Hot & Sour Soup made with large chunks of chicken, vegetables, soy sauce and vinegar. It was sufficiently spicy and hot, great to prepare your appetite for yet more delicious hot and spicy food! It also went very well with the Cheese Naan Bread that we ordered.
Our Food For The Evening
Then came the main dishes which we had with Plain Biryani Rice and the remaining Cheese Naan Bread. First to be served was the Chilli Fish cooked in spicy chilly sauce and vegetables. The fish itself was very succulent and moist, obvious that it was very fresh.
Next was the Chicken Shaslick, boneless chicken, marinated in East Chinese spices. Quite a mild and very tasty dish. The Chicken Khada Masala was definitely my favourite, this had quite a kick to it! Again with boneless chicken, cooked with capsicum and onion in Indian spices. Then finally, the Aloo Ghobi made with Cauliflower, potatoes and cooked with fenugreek seeds and onion seeds. Cooked to perfection, slightly crispy cauliflower and soft moist potatoes.
All the food was very tasty and well presented by friendly staff in a very cosy, homely environment. So much so in fact that after the food, we stayed for quite some time watching TV and playing pool! 7TNine is also good for not only excellent North Indian cuisine, but to enjoy the night scene too, although a bit out of the way from other bars, but definitely worth the short Grab ride from your local!
As I mentioned earlier, 7TNine Kitchen & Bar would also make excellent hosts for private functions due to the large private space it has on the first floor with its own event hall, private bar and terrace. They also have a very user friendly website where you can find more information on the outlet itself, events, menu and more.
Thank you very much to 7TNine, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and we will definitely see you again soon!
