Each international school is unique in terms of fee structure. The types of fees international schools normally charge include application fee, admission fee, tuition fee and school development fee, among others.

Here are the international schools in Kuala Lumpur that charge below RM30,000 for Year 7 annual tuition fees.

  1. Alnoor International School

At Alnoor International School, students from the ages of 3 to 17 are taught a modern curriculum that leads to the IGCSE examinations. Currently, the school has an estimated 400 students and is located in Bukit Petaling. Alnoor International School also has a branch in Kuantan, Pahang.

  1. Global Indian International School

Established in 2006, Global Indian International School offers India’s Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and IGCSE examinations. The Montessori approach is adopted at early years level. The school accepts preschool, primary and secondary school students. Global Indian International School is located in Brickfields.

  1. Havil International School

Located in Brickfields, Havil International School offers the Cambridge Curriculum leading up to the IGCSE examinations. The school accepts students from primary and secondary levels. Havil International School was established in 2014.

  1. International Islamic School Malaysia

International Islamic School Malaysia is located in Gombak. The school offers the Cambridge Curriculum, British Curriculum and Malaysian Curriculum. The curricula is also fused with Islamic programmes. A Level and O Level examinations are offered. The school accepts students at preschool, primary, secondary and pre-university levels

Established in 2017, Marefat International School offers the Cambridge curriculum for students in preschool, primary and secondary levels. Sayfol International School is located along Jalan Ampang and was established in 1985. The school offers the British Curriculum, IGCSE and A Level examinations. Students aged two to 18 years old can enrol in Sayfol International School.

Located in Kenny Hill, Spectrum International Islamic School offers a combination of the Cambridge Curriculum and Islamic Curriculum. The school was established in 2016 and is open to preschool, primary and secondary students.

  1. Sri Bestari International School

Sri Bestari School is a private school which introduced international curricula in 2017. The school offers the British Curriculum leading up to the IGCSE examinations. Students at preschool, primary and secondary level are accepted at the school. Sri Bestari International School is located in Bandar Sri Damansara

  1. Sri Dasmesh International School

Sri Dasmesh International School offers the UK curriculum leading up to the IGCSE examinations. The school has approximately 500 students from Year 1 to Year 11. Sri Dasmesh International School was established in 2001 and is located along Jalan Pantai Baharu.

  1. Sri Sempurna International School

Established in 1993, Sri Sempurna International School offers the Cambridge curriculum and the IGCSE examinations. The school has approximately 900 students from the ages of 7 to 17. Sri Sempurna International School is located in Cheras.

St. John’s International School offers the Cambridge Curriculum leading up to the IGCSE examinations at secondary school level. A Levels is offered at pre-university level. The school was established in 2012 and is located in Bukit Nanas.

  1. Vikas International School

Vikas International School is one of the few schools in Malaysia which offers India’s Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school was established in 1996 and accommodates preschool, primary and secondary school students. Vikas International School is located along Jalan Klang Lama.

  1. Utama Schools (International & National) 

Established in 1994, Utama Schools offers both the Malaysian Curriculum and Cambridge Curriculum. The school accepts students aged three to 17 years old. Utama Schools are located in Wangsa Maju.

  1. Wesley Methodist School (International)

Located in Sentul, Wesley Methodist School (International) offers the Cambridge Curriculum leading up to the IGCSE examinations for secondary school students only. Wesley Methodist School (International) began offering the international curriculum in 2015.
